We cannot guarantee holiday delivery for furniture and other large items delivered by truck.
Shipping Types
Our products are delivered in the following ways:
- Front Door Parcel Delivery (e.g., Purolator or Canada Post) to your delivery address.
- Flat Rate Home Delivery for most furniture and other items that exceed parcel carrier shipping weight limits; usually includes our Premium White Glove service and Unlimited Items for a Flat Rate fee. Doorstep Delivery may be available at a reduced Flat Rate; does not include assembly and you are responsible for bringing the items into your home.
- Pick up from a local store with Ship to Store delivery

Standard parcel items ship from our warehouse and arrive within 10 - 15 business days for metro areas or 12 - 18 business days for non-metro areas of receiving your order. If there is a delay, we will notify you by email. Some items sent directly from our suppliers may take longer, and items ordered together may not arrive in the same box. If your package cannot be delivered, you will receive a notice from the carrier with pick-up instructions or re-delivery options.

With Unlimited Flat Rate Shipping, an unlimited number of eligible furniture and select non-furniture items can be delivered for a single flat rate, per shipping address. Your order will ship when all items in your order are available for delivery. Truck Delivery usually includes our premium White Glove Service - items are delivered to your home by appointment to your room of choice— and are then unpacked and fully assembled. Flat Rate Shipping Items that do not include White Glove Service are outdoor patio structures, marble or stone sink consoles, lighting, mirrors, rugs, headboards attached to a metal frame and any items requiring home installation. |
Doorstep Delivery |
Doorstep Delivery service is available for select items at a lower flat rate. With Doorstep Delivery you are responsible for bringing items into your home, assembly is not included. For multi-unit buildings, items will be placed in a secure lobby area or with building concierge.

Gift Cards
Gift cards have slightly different rates and time frames from other products:
- Free shipping by Canada Post with standard delivery (10-15 business days).

Delivery Timing

Arranging Delivery
A representative will call to arrange a delivery date and confirm an appointment timeframe. Please allow up to 12–15 days from the date of order (for in–stock items) to receive this call. Typically, the delivery date offered will be within 5 days of your call for metro deliveries and up to 14 days rural areas.
In-home delivery and assembly service is not available to all postcodes. Service to outlying areas may be restricted based on geographic location. Please call 1 855-860-1081 for more information.

Doorstep Delivery service is available for select items at a lower flat rate. With Doorstep Delivery you are responsible for bringing the item into your home. Assembly and packaging disposal is not included in Doorstep Delivery.
Special Cases: Shipping Q&A
In some cases, shipping may be postponed due to a lack of product availability. Items that are on backorder will be shipped when they are received in stock. In the event of any delay, we will notify you by email.
Please provide a street address for delivery — we cannot ship to P.O. Boxes.
We are unable to deliver to Quebec.
When you checkout, you will be given the option on the shipping page to "Ship to multiple addresses."
Delivery from williams-sonoma.ca is only available within Canada.
Delivery from williams-sonoma.com is available within the U.S.
