Products You Can Feel Good About Buying
for a Better Nonstick
Our cookware surfaces are 100% PFOA-free which means they are made without the harmful chemicals such as perfluorooctanoic acid, that can be harmful when cooking at high temperatures. We also offer a wide range of alternative nonstick cookware and bakeware, such as naturally nonstick cast iron or ceramic nonstick.
Fighting Child Hunger
Every year, we donate 30% of all proceeds to No Kid Hungry with our Celebrity Spatula program. So far, we’ve sold 50,000-plus spatulas, helping to connect kids with over 1.5 million meals.
Coffee Pod Waste
We make it easy to recycle your Nespresso pods: Simply save your old pods and drop them off at your local Williams Sonoma store, where they’ll be sent to a specialized recycling facility.
Beyond Never Tested
Our entire collection of Williams Sonoma brand soaps and lotions are 100% paraben free, biodegradable, and free from toxic chemicals like ammonia, chlorine, and lauramide DEA. In addition, our made-in-the-USA room sprays are 100% non-aerosol.
We continue to offer and grow our foods to cater to people with a wide range of dietary needs and goals, ranging from vegan and gluten-free to Kosher and dairy-free products. By 2020, 30% of our food collection will be organic and non-GMO and 100% will be free of artificial colours and flavours. Plus, we only use renewable, sustainably produced oils from sources that don’t lead to deforestation.
Around the World
Through the HERproject, we work with low-income women working in global supply chains. The program serves to promote the well-being and increase standards of living for women in this industry.
Many of our products, from wood to cotton, are made of sustainably sourced materials. Williams Sonoma is committed to only purchasing wood from known, legal, and well-managed forests. Our goal is that by 2021 half of the wood we used will be reclaimed or certified from the Forest Stewardship Council® and 100 percent of our cotton will be sustainably sourced.
